Happy Veterans’ Day! May I beg a couple of minutes of your valuable time to consider the life and death of the most famous vet of the Afghanistan/ Iraq occupations? Pat Tillman
Right after 9/11 Pat decided,
“I must hunt down this bastard (bin Laden) who murdered 3,000 Americans!” He was in primetime of his NFL career, but Pat felt a higher calling. The Arizona Cardinals offered Tillman $3,600,000 to play, but Pat quit at the end of the football season (April, 2002) and he, and brother Kevin signed up as RANGERS…Front Line…most likely group to find Osama.
.
The Bush Administration used Tillman as their Poster Boy to recruit thousands of kids after 9/11.
But, in 2003 America Cut and Ran from our Hunt for bin Laden to capture oil in Iraq.
Pat was upset:
The September 25, 2005, edition of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper reported that Tillman held views which were critical of the Iraq war and did not support President Bush’s re-election. According to Tillman’s mother, a friend of Tillman had arranged a meeting with Noam Chomsky, to take place after his return from Afghanistan. Chomsky has confirmed this. The article also reported that Tillman urged a soldier in his platoon to vote for John Kerry in the 2004 U.S. Presidential election.
Pat Tillman Murdered?
July 26, 2007: AP finally received documents via Freedom of Information Act on Tillman’s death…including a buried report from doctors who had examined his body.
3 M-16 BULLETS TO THE FOREHEAD WITHIN A 2-INCH RADIUS!
.
3 LUCKY M-16 SHOTS TO THE FOREHEAD WITHIN A 2-INCH RADIUS FROM 200 METERS AWAY?
More unbelievable than the magic bullet that killed JFK!
I am a Vietnam vet and I asked my sniper brothers for opinions. Their conclusion:
The first shot came from less than 10 feet away and when Tillman was down on the ground (and probably dead) the hitman moved in and capped him twice from point blank range…
.
I recently attended a reading/ Q&A of Mary Tillman (Pat’s Mom) on new book Boots on the Ground by Dusk…the tragic story of how the American government has jacked around the Tillman family for years.
At first they were told the Pat was killed by sniper fire. Tillman was awarded a Silver Star, the Phoenix Cardinals erected a statue at the stadium in his honor:
and recruiters scooped up more naive kids.
Months later the Bush Adminstration was forced to admit that Tillman was killed by “Friendly Fire” by his own men…with 3 tragic but lucky shots from 200 meters away.
Experts said, “IMPOSSIBLE!”
Months later the Bushies answered, “Would you believe 100 yards?” “No!” “How about 75 yards?” “No way” “Okay…40 yards, and that’s our final offer!”…and that’s were it stands today.
During Q&A Mary answered my question: “I really want to believe the official tragic accident story, but the government has lied to my family so many times. I asked John McCain to help, but he never answered my calls…Yes, I have spoken with weapon experts and snipers who doubt the offical report.
I rule out nothing at this point.”
American soldiers murdering each other? I know that many of well-meaning Idealists will flee in terror from this site. Believe me, FRAGGING was a Daily Event in Vietnam.
The Army didn’t keep track of GIs killing each other until after Tet of 1968: a country-wide coordinated surprise attack by the NVA and VC on more than 100 towns and cities, including 36 provincial capitals and Saigon. This was the turning point…nearly four years into the conflict…American soldiers began to realize that we were not in Vietnam to win a war, but to occupy. Incidences of drug abuse, AWOL, desertion and fragging soared. Official Army stats on fragging:
1964- 1968 Did not keep track, 1969 239, 1970 383, 1971 333, 1972 the problem became so serious the Army stopped reporting the number.
I am a Vietnam vet and based on my shot groups in Basic Training I earned a Sharpshooter ribbon. Every day I receive emails a from current soldiers and vets, and in the past week I’ve asked them about the Tillman shot group. All of us agree…whoever murdered Pat Tillman was standing less than ten feet away. This was a mafia-style hit at close range. Given the new information the White House/ Pentagon’s story of a friendly fire accident from 100 meters away is more unbelievable than Lee Harvey Oswald’s Magic Bullet.
For anyone who has ever fired an M-16 only one question remains:
Who ordered the HIT on Pat Tillman?
And, Why?
The September 25, 2005 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper reported that Tillman held views which were critical of the Iraq war and did not support President Bush’s re-election. According to Tillman’s mother, a friend of Tillman had arranged a meeting with Noam Chomsky, to take place after his return from Afghanistan. Chomsky has confirmed this.11 The article also reported that Tillman urged a soldier in his platoon to vote for John Kerry in the 2004 U.S. Presidential election. From Wikipedia
Pat Tillman gave up a great football career to serve his country, and when America cut and ran from Afghanastan to start “A fucking illegal war in Iraq” (Pat’s words) he became angry. Tillman was scheduled to return to the USA and he was planning to work for the Kerry campaign and speak at antiwar demonstrations. The greatest Army recruiting tool of our time speaking out against the war just before the 2004 election? That just couldn’t happen in the eyes of the White House/ Pentagon.
The Bush response to questions?
White House, Pentagon Cite Excutive Privilege on Tillman evidence
Kensinger’s attorney told the committee his client “would not testify voluntarily and, if issued a subpoena, would seek to evade service,” Waxman said. The committee did try repeatedly to serve Kensinger Tuesday, but he could not be found.
Who must testify? Certainally, the eyewitnesses and the commanding officer.
Lt. Gen. Philip R. Kensinger headed Army special operations, the division under which Tillman’s Rangers fell.
