Saturday 9/26 I attended the TOWN HALL Heath Care Meeting of wacky Right-Wing Tool Buck McKeonWhat, Me Worry? Me and 500 rednecks…What could go wrong?
The hot CA sun was melting the duct tape covering my mouth as I inched forward in line. Could I find the courage to remain silent until I entered the gym? But suddenly I spotted some old friends- Billionaires for Wealthcare Artists formerly known as Prince. If they had the courage to show up, I realized that I would be a poser to stay away. March On!
A thick cloud of ignorance engulfed the crowd in College of the Canyons gym (Santa Clarita, CA)…seeping into every pore of my body. I scanned the faces: 3 Black, 2 Latino, 1 Asian and 494 Caucasian. Yep, typical McKeon crowd…Tried to get a seat up front, but they were reserved.
Take note Dems: Buck surrounded himself with his zombie insiders on the floor and every time he received a tough question from bleacher liberals he skipped an answer and immediately called on one of his own who droned on from a talking-points script for ten minutes.
.Buck McKeon: faithful Christian (Mormon) soldier of the Republican Party…only votes against them when a lobbyist from the other side offers more.
.Bucky never called on me for my Deep-Throat-follow-the-money questions..ie: “Why did you sell out to the health insurance giants to kill the public option for a measly $326,698 when fellow republicans and Blue Dogs like Max Baucus demanded 25 times as much to screw We the People?
But, of course, that is why Corporate America loves Buck McKeon…a cheap date who never says no.
