Right after 9/11 Pat Tillman decided,
“I must hunt down this bastard Osama bin Laden who murdered 3,000 Americans!”
Tillman was in primetime of his NFL career, but felt a higher calling. The Arizona Cardinals offered Pat $3,600,000 to play, but Tillman quit at the end of the football season (April, 2002) and he and brother Kevin signed up as RANGERS…Front Line…most likely group to find and kill Osama.
A goldmine for Army recruitment! Thousands of kids signed up to follow in the footsteps of their hero Pat Tillman. Pat remained the greatest sales ad for the American Military for 3 years after his death on April 22, 2004.

Pat Tillman gave up a great football career to serve his country, and when America cut and ran from Afghanastan to start “A fucking illegal war in Iraq” (Pat’s words) he became angry. Tillman was scheduled to return to the USA and he was planning to work for the Kerry campaign, meet with Noam Chomsky and speak at antiwar demonstrations. The greatest Army recruiting tool of our time speaking out against the war just before the 2004 election?

Enter General Stanley McChrystal

The Tillman Story and General McChrystal. Filmmaker Says McChrystal Part of Pat Tillman Cover Up. 06_23kicking-brass8.jpg06_28JSOC_emblem_2.jpg.
McChrystal commanded the Joint Special Operations Command (which Newsweek termed “the most secretive force in the U.S. military”) for five years from September 2003 to August 2008.
The JSOC (1) has the power to snatch and grab anyone deemed an enemy of America anywhere and throw them into a secret prison. They also have (2) a Licence to Kill. June 2006 McChrystal’s team successfully located Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and called in the airstrike to killed him. No capture, no trial…just eliminate.
The third important duty of the JSOC is (3) to cover up any action that might look bad in the media…Which brings us back to Pat Tillman.
McChrystal’s judgment has been in question before, when he was investigated for abuse and torture of detainees by his men and his alleged part in the Pat Tillman cover up. McChrystal signed a Silver Star award for Tillman before we discovered that his death was actually the result of friendly fire. I thought that his career ended with the Tillman investigation, and I was surprised to see his name appear as the new commander in Afghanistan.”……

Rolling Stone The Runaway General. After Tillman’s death:
On April 29,2004 Major General Stanley McChrystal — commander of the task force that the Rangers served in Afghanistan, and head of the most secretive joint-service force in the US military — sent a memo to John Abizaid, telling him to warn everyone all the way to Commander-in-Chief George W. Bush, an investigation “will find that it is highly possible Cpl. Tillman was killed by friendly fire…
No reference to telling the truth… “which might cause public embarrassment if the circumstances of Cpl. Tillman’s death become public.” How Pat Tillman Died by STAN GOFF
According to an unnamed source, Abizaid misled Congress on August 1, 2007, when he stated that this memo — from the General in theater who directed the most politically-sensitive and secret operations in the military, which include units like Delta Force (now operating under a new name) — did not “reach him” for “10 to 20 days.” Rumsfeld and President also claimed ignorance.
White House, Pentagon Cite Executive Privilege on Tillman evidence.
Ah, yes…McChrystal, Abizaid, Rumsfeld and Bush knew that Tillman was murdered by his own guys but didn’t want to lose the greatest recruiting tool in American history…so, they awarded Pat the Silver Star for “Bravely leading a team of Army Rangers up a remote southeastern Afghan hill to knock out enemy fire.” The Phoenix Cardinals erected a statue at the stadium in his honor…

Tillman posthumously awarded prestigious Silver Star.
For the next 3 years many thousands of young Tillman fans signed up to avenge the murder of their hero by those Islamo-Fascists in Afghanistan.
Finally on July 26, 2007, AP received documents via Freedom of Information Act on Tillman…
Yes, it was Friendly Fire!
This led to a Congressional Hearing which concluded that McChrystal was responsible.

Last year I attended a reading/ Q&A of Mary Tillman (Pat’s Mom) of her book Boots on the Ground by Dusk, the tragic story of how the American government jacked the Tillman family around for years.
During Q&A Mary answered my question: “I really want to believe the official tragic accident story, but the government has lied to my family so many times. I asked John McCain to help, but he never answered my calls…Yes, I have spoken with weapon experts and snipers who doubt the offical report.
I rule out nothing at this point.”

.
Also including was a buried autopsy report from doctors who had examined his body:

3 BULLETS TO THE FOREHEAD WITHIN A 2-INCH RADIUS!

More unbelievable than the magic bullet that killed JFK!
Tillman’s autopsy raised doctors’ suspicions- Medical evidence did not match military’s account.

I am a Vietnam vet and I asked my sniper brothers for opinions. Their conclusion:
The first shot came from less than 10 meters away and when Tillman was down on the ground (and dead) the hitman moved in and capped him (mafia style) on the ground with automatic fire from point blank range. BELOW: The rock next to Tillman’s head:

American soldiers murdering each other?
Believe me, FRAGGING was a Daily Event in Vietnam.
The Army didn’t keep track of GIs killing each other until after Tet of 1968: a country-wide coordinated surprise attack by the NVA and VC on more than 100 towns and cities, including 36 provincial capitals and Saigon. This was the turning point…nearly four years into the conflict…American soldiers began to realize that we were not in Vietnam to win a war, but to occupy. Incidences of suicide, drug abuse, AWOL, desertion and fragging soared. Official Army stats on fragging:
1964- 1968 Did not keep track, 1969 239, 1970 383, 1971 333, 1972: the problem became so serious the Army stopped reporting the number.
Pat Tillman Murdered? I want to believe that it was just a tragic accident, but like Mary Tillman, “I rule out nothing at this point.”
A real investigation would be nice.
